The Ram of the year state finalist was judged at the Queensland State Sheep show 2015, with the winner being Mt Ascot Merino Stud, Mitchell, Queensland.
They will now go on to represent Queensland for Ram of the year at the Rabobank National Sheep Show, in Dubbo late August 2015.

Other results from the Queensland Sheep Show included the Supreme Poll Exhibit, which was won by Alfoxton Poll Merino Stud and the Supreme Merino Exhibit, won by Towalba Merino Stud.
